Valentines Day Look 1 - A Classic Timeless Outfit

Over the next week I'll be sharing a few different outfits styled by yours truly, that you can replicate or shop for to prepare for your upcoming day with your loved one!

For some women, developing a personal style centers around pieces that they can mix and match, and wear forever.  When they shop, it's not about picking up the trendy pieces that are "in" right now, but more so about classic pieces that's style will stand the test of time.  In my opinion, this look exemplifies just that.  Classic pieces like this are never going to go out of style so for all you fashionistas with a very traditional take on fashion, this one it definitely for you!

For your special night out, try this beautiful combination with a tiny pop of color.  A basic lace (or crochet) top paired with a cropped trench and black skinny pants, topped off with a red shoe.  If you want to go for a more laid back vibe you can definitely swap out the heels for some red ballerina flats instead.

Here's the key to this look, the trench coat.  A traditional trench should hit you right about mid thigh, but for a look like this you're going to want to invest in a cropped trench coat.  The traditional length can be associate with a more dressed up vibe, on the verge of business appropriate.  The cropped trench gives you the same great effect of this classic outerwear pieces, but with a way more casual and flirty feel. If it's not something you'll be wearing a ton, don't be afraid to save a few bucks by picking one up at a more bargain friendly store.  Below, I've provided a link to one that is currently on sale for less than $35.

Point is, all of these staple pieces that most women already have in their closet, can be paired together to achieve a flawless Valentines Day Outfit.
