1.) Color on top of more color:
For this look I took a bright lavender
dress with neon, tri-colored polka dots, and added a colorful yellow
scarf and colorful yellow flats.

2.) Color separated by a neutral:
For this look I was inspired by an
abstract form of pinup style. My ethnic background prevents me from
doing pin up style very literal, I don't have the teeny waist or hair
that can be put in a cute up do so its a more abstracted style, inspired
from the 40s and 50s.

3.) Color POP!
A great way to wear color is to have a neutral outfit head to toe, layer neutral on top of neutral, with a neutral shoe, then add pops of bright color with your accessories. For this outfit I wore a nude lace dress, with a nude colored trench jacket and leopard print pumps. (Animal prints are a great nude substitution if you don't want your outfit to look completely dull, just stick to the natural colored prints.)

4.) Neons!
I always like to offset neons with solid colors and darks. For this look I paired a neon graphic tank top, with white jeans and gingham button down and half tuxedo blazer. An old pair of chucks and chunky chain necklace completed the look.

5.) Monotonous Color
For this look I found two colors that go well together and used one of the colors for my whole outfit and the other color that complement as a secondary element, the necklace. Coral and Turquoise were a huge hit this summer and they were everywhere. So those are the colors I used for this outfit, a bright coral resort blouse with a bright coral bandage skirt. Paired with nude accessories and nude shoes, for this look you really want the focus to be the clothes, opposite from look 3 where the accessories were the focus.
