You know that feeling you get when you put on a sexy pair of high heels? Your posture changes, your attitude changes, and suddenly you're unstoppable! Well it's hard for me to get that feeling with other shoe types, but this season there is a sandal that can do just that...the gladiator. Just like overalls, Birkenstocks, and tied-around-the-waist button ups are making a comeback, so are these strappy sandals. What's really huge this year are the ever so daring style that buckles all the way up to your knee. Most frequently seen on celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian, Selena Gomez and Rihanna, all heights of gladiator are enjoying their time in the spotlight for Spring 2014.
When styling a shoe like this remember that it should be the center focus of your outfit, so keep the rest simple so your gladiators can get the attention they deserve! Although black is mildly unconventional for spring, I went with an all black look to help showcase my shoe. You can let your personality shine with other accessories, for me I chose this medallion statement necklace and snake earrings.
