Chevron Chic
So for this look I decided to take a maxi dress and pair it with one of the not so mainstream summer trends that I saw this season....."ugly" prints. The overly gaudy, 80's inspired, tacky chain/ scarf printed items. Or as I like to call it, the "ugly scarf print". This dress is very flattering for people with a wider frame or larger hips since the zig-zag peaks in the front and back of the dress are downwards facing it elongates the body, and creates a slimmer, hour-glass figure. Paired with a blazer, this look becomes a lot more adult and elegant, but also helps cut the cold, and blazer-ing the dress easily transitions this outfit to autumn if you'd like to.
